Senior Tax Accountant
Job Description
Ensure accurate tax and accounting compliance aligned with local and international legislation, while optimizing tax processes and applying standards such as IFRS, USGAAP, and local regulations.
đź“Ś Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting and tax team.
- Oversee monthly and annual closings.
- Ensure timely compliance with federal and local tax obligations.
- Design tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax burden.
- Handle internal and external audits (SAT).
- Assess tax risks in international operations.
Qualifications
🧾 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (licensed).
- Postgraduate studies in Taxation or Tax Law (preferred).
- 6–10 years of proven experience in tax accounting.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
🛠️ Technical Skills:
- Tax planning, financial closings, tax audits.
- Accounting standards: IFRS, USGAAP, LISR, LIVA.
- Proficiency in Contpaqi, advanced Excel, government and banking portals.
🧠Key Soft Skills:
- Strategic and analytical thinking.
- High ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Effective communication and leadership.
