 Mission:

We are seeking a highly skilled CI/CD Engineer to join our dynamic automotive software development team. As a CI/CD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline for our automotive software projects. Your expertise will ensure that our software is delivered quickly, reliably, and efficiently, meeting the stringent requirements of the automotive industry.

Scope of Action:

  1. Focus on automotive software scenarios, lead the design, construction, and deployment of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, covering the entire process from code submission, building, testing to edge device deployment. Ensure the pipelines are adapted to automotive embedded environments, real-time requirements, and safety compliance standards.
  2. Take charge of daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the pipelines, quickly respond to issues such as build failures and deployment abnormalities, ensure stable operation of the pipelines, and support the high-frequency iteration needs of automotive software.
  3. Continuously optimize pipeline performance and efficiency. Shorten the build cycle, improve deployment success rates, and reduce the delivery cost of automotive software by streamlining processes, introducing parallel tasks, and optimizing resource scheduling.
  4. Combine automotive software characteristics (such as multi-hardware platform adaptation, OTA upgrade scenarios, and automotive-grade testing standards) to customize pipeline toolchains and scripts (e.g., Shell, Python), realizing automation in links like compilation and packaging, automated testing (including hardware-in-the-loop test integration), and version management.
  5. Collaborate deeply with embedded development, testing, and edge device teams, sort out pain points in software delivery, integrate best practices in the automotive industry into CI/CD processes, and promote the adoption of standardized development and delivery specifications within the team.
  6. Track technical trends in the field of CI/CD empowered by AI/ML (e.g., intelligent build failure prediction, automated test case generation, anomaly detection in pipeline operations, and AI-driven resource optimization), evaluate and introduce appropriate AI-enhanced toolchains or solutions (e.g., AI-based test data generation, CI/CD pipeline self-healing mechanisms, or ML-optimized deployment strategies), and lead the integration and application of these AI technologies to continuously enhance the intelligence, adaptability, and scalability of the pipelines.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Electronics, or related majors, with at least 3 years of experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in the automotive or embedded fields.
  2. Proficiency in core CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.), capable of independently designing and implementing pipeline architectures adapted to embedded environments.
  3. Mastery of Docker containerization technology, with experience in containerization deployment and management in resource-constrained edge environments; familiarity with Git version control, and ability to design branch management strategies in line with automotive development specifications.
  4. Possess solid script development skills (Shell, Python, etc.), able to independently write automated scripts to solve practical problems in automotive software building, testing, and deployment.
  5. Knowledge of automotive software development processes (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262) is preferred; familiarity with edge hardware platforms (such as MCU, automotive-grade SOC) is a plus.
  6. Experience with AI/ML applications in CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., intelligent build/test optimization, anomaly detection, automated test case generation, or AI-driven workflow optimization) is strongly preferred.
  7. Have good cross-team communication skills and problem-solving abilities, able to quickly understand automotive software business needs and transform them into pipeline optimization solutions; fluent in English, capable of handling technical document reading and cross-team collaboration.
